✏️ Preferred name length: 12 characters or fewer (including spaces). This gives the best font size and the boldest look on the tag.

We can accommodate longer names, but every tag is capped at a 6-inch max width. For names longer than 12 characters, the font is auto-scaled down to fit within that 6-inch limit — the tag itself won't get longer, the letters will just get smaller. Most tags run 3–5 inches at 12 characters or fewer.
